Access Guidelines

Access Activities allow scientists working in an EU member country or associated state (regardless of their nationality) to apply for beam time at one of the participating facilities. If the proposal is approved through this programme the user group can receive travel and subsistence support from the facility.

Due to the shutdown of SINQ in July and August 2007 on part of the instruments there is not enough beamtime left to launch a regular call for proposals for the period May - August 2008. The deadline November 15, 2007 will therefore be cancelled. For some instruments, namely TASP, RITA-II, SANS-II, POLDI, TRICS, NEUTRA, ICON there is still some beamtime left and we will launch a 'mini-call for proposals' with an extraordinary deadline on January 31
