Access Guidelines to the European Facilities: Links and Deadlines

ACCESS PROGRAMME
The NMI3 Access Programme of the European Commission allow scientists working in an EU member country or associated state (regardless of their nationality) to apply for beam time at one of the participating facilities. If the proposal is approved through this programme the user group can receive travel and subsistence support from the facility.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT:
All scientists from the EU Member States or Associated States
Users affiliated to a host country institution are not eligible to this program, regardless their individual nationality. For example: A user from a German University could not apply for NMI3 financial support for beamtime at a German Neutron Source. But a German user working in France would be eligible to this program. The same is true for a Japanese user working in UK applying for beamtime in France.

REACTORS SHUT DOWNS UPCOMING! BE AWARE!
In the next two years most of the European facilities will shut down their reactors for improvements and maintenance works. Take this into account if you are planning to apply for beam time in the future!
